This is a Vintage style, Premium ES-335 Pre-Wired Harness for Gibsons, it also fits most Epiphones and 335 style Imports.
This is a great upgrade for any ES-335, Epi Dot or 335 import guitar. You will hear the difference!
PLEASE NOTE: 335’s can have slight variations in layout, so please check the layout (Last image) and compare the measurements. We do give you a little wiggle room, but it’s not a lot. If your spacing is larger or different than the measurements on our image above, there is a good chance that it won't fit. For shipping purposes, the wiring harness is mounted to a brown card assembly template and is the correct alignment for your Gibson ES-335.

All the components used in this harness are all top of the line with tight tolerances.
Choice of capacitors:
Harness available with either Mallory or Orange Drops
CTS Pots:- Are 550k with less than 5% tolerance. These custom pots have long life wipers and a very smooth wide sweep, they do not drop off like standard CTS pots.
Switchcraft 3-way toggle switch:- Short frame with long thread for through body applications. The go to switch for most high-end guitars because they are the best.
Gavitt Braided Wire:- Our improved version of braided shield wire, similar to the type used by Gibson® guitars, but pre-tinned for ease of use. #22 AWG 7/30 with tinned overcoat (pre-tinned). Braided with a layer of white Celanese followed by a layer of black cotton and finally waxed and braided overall with #36 AWG (3 end) tinned copper. All our other single cloth covered wire is also manufactured by Gavitt.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are using this wiring harness for an Epiphone or imported 335 GUITAR, you will most likely have to open out your pot holes to 3/8" (10mm) as imported guitars with metric pots use a smaller 8mm hole. You will also need USA spec. guitar knobs with 24 spline. Metric knobs will not fit. They are a slightly smaller diameter and 18 spline. If you try to force metric knobs onto USA spec pots, you will break the pot.

This a pre-wired kit. The pots, caps, jack, and 3-way toggle are pre-soldered for you (vintage 50's style). All that you need to do, is solder your pickups, and bridge ground wire and that’s it. After shipping, I will send you a link to my online wiring diagrams.
I build these harnesses to order; bench test it by hooking it up to a test guitar in my workshop (See images 7 & 8) and when I ship it, I guarantee it working 100%. Usually, I ship within 48 to 72 hours.
PLEASE NOTE:- If you are not comfortable or experienced with the installation of this harness into a semi hollow or hollow body, we highly recommend taking it to an experienced guitar technician.
