WD® Music Products developed these high-quality potentiometers with CTS® to offer you exceptional performance in electronics for your Les Paul. These are NOT the same CTS pots that other companies stock and sell. These are developed using 9% +/- tolerances and a value at 10% over the standard 500K rating (550K). This ensures you not only optimum performance but guarantees your potentiometers will always be at least the value stated unlike many others using 20% tolerances where you can be over spec but in most cases way under the specifications you need to ensure good tone from your pickups. They added brass components and a high-quality long-life wiper versus what comes standard on most run of the mill pots to ensure long life, quality and consistent performance. WD spared no expense and thought of everything whilst working with CTS, right down to chamfering the tops of brass shafts, making it easier to install your guitar knobs.
We buy these pots in 100 bulk packs and as soon as we receive them, we go one step further. We measure every one of them and split them into either 550k or 525k and by doing that we can offer a tighter 5% tolerance on both the 525k and 550k. With this harness, we have handpicked four 550k pots and the variation is a very tight 5%. When we select the pot values, we always use the higher values for volume pots and the lower values for the tone pots, as this gives the best tone.
Centralab Bumble Bee Oil Filled Tone Capacitors
Non-inductive mylar and oil caps, these BUMBLE BEE tone caps use oil soaked mylar as di-electric material and are very smooth and natural in sound. You can choose which Cap value you want. We carry 2 values .015uf or .022uf: - Choose one of each, or 2 of the .022's, or 2 of the .015's.
For USA Gibson LP's select the Long Shaft Pots. For Epiphone and Import LP's select the Short Shaft Pots

This harness will also work for Epiphone and Import Les Paul's if you select the short shaft pots. However, on Epiphones and Imports, you will have to enlarge the holes for the pots to 3/8 inch and you will have to change out your knobs because most Epiphone and Imported pots use a smaller hole and also metric pots use 18 spline knobs whilst USA pots use 24 spline knobs. they are not interchangeable.
