Les Paul Premium Wiring Harness with Custom CTS 550k LONG SHAFT Pots +/- 5% – Centralab Oil filled .022uF Tone Caps.

This long shaft wiring harness is built with top-of-the-line Premium quality components: -

Premium 550k CTS Potentiometers with +/- 5% tolerance and custom audio tapers with a wide sweep that don’t drop off as quickly as standard CTS pots. They use a high-quality wiper versus what comes standard on most run of the mill potentiometers to ensure long life, quality, and consistent performance. Centralab’s Oil filled Tone Capacitors. These oil filled caps are very smooth and natural in sound.

Gavitt Insulated 22guage Wire. This vintage cloth push-back wire is 22AWG stranded wire, with textile braid. This is the same wire used by Fender®. Ours has a tinned overcoat after the individual strands of the conductor are twisted together locking the strands into a single unit just like Fender® has their wire made. The benefit to this process is that the wire holds its shape very well without having fraying strands at the cuts needing to be twisted and tinned, making it very easy to work with. The cloth push-back insulation reduces work time by eliminating the need for wire strippers. Just cut to length, push back the cover and solder into place.

Switchcraft Jack. These are still the best mono Input Jack. This is a standard Gibson Les Paul style pre-wired kit with long shaft potentiometers. It will also fit most Les Paul copies and Epiphones.

This kit uses Long Shaft Pots and will fit most USA made Gibson Les Paul's manufactured after 1977. If you have questions, please contact me.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are using this wiring harness for an Epiphone or imported guitar, you will most likely have to open out your pot holes to 3/8" (10mm) whilst imported guitars with metric pots use a smaller 8mm hole. You will also need USA spec. guitar knobs with 24 spline. Metric knobs will not fit. They are a slightly smaller diameter and 18 spline. If you try to force metric knobs onto USA spec pots, you will break the pot.
